Blacky Swarts- President

Born and raised in Namibia, where his father owned a land development and construction company. Blacky, Elmarie and their two children made Canada their home in 1998. Known for his business smarts and his unmatched integrity, Blacky is a perfect fit to lead Sorento Custom Homes. Also in his spare time, he owns and operates two medical clinics in southeast Red Deer.

Mark Macleod- Operations Manager

Mark and his wife Jennifer and their three young daughters love living in Red Deer. Mark takes pride in providing his customers with a fun, stress free building experience. Mark has great relationships not only with his customers but also with a team of professionals that build every Sorento Custom Homes. Easy to deal with and always available, Mark is one of the proud few who loves his job.

Gail Klassen- Office and Service Manager

Gail, Ryan and their two daughters call Lacombe home. Hired as a bookkeeper, Gail, in a short time, took over as office manager. As known by our customers and professional trades people, she is extremely organized and fun to deal with. Sorento relies on Gail to handle everything from accounting to service and Gail excels at her job.

Dan Daneault- Construction Manager

Dan is married and the proud father of two sons. Dan is very involved in sports in the community both for himself and his sons. He grew up in a small town in Manitoba and has been heavily involved in construction his whole life. Dan's construction knowledge is exactly what customers require when building their Sorento Custom Home.

Chad Allen- Site Foreman

Chad, Courtney and their 2 children have lived in Red Deer for the last 9 years. Known for his extremely positive attitude and his great work ethic, Chad is a great asset to the Sorento team.
